The Culture at the Border Association was founded in 2008 in Cieszyn. Its objectives are: popularisation of the achievements and support of the creators of film and other fields of art, especially from the Visegrad Group countries (the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Hungary), promotion and organisation of voluntary work, educational activities, including for minorities, the disabled and equal rights for women and men, cooperation with individuals and institutions to gather knowledge and exchange experience. The Association pursues its objectives by: organising screenings, film reviews and festivals, concerts, promotional events, fairs, exhibitions, lectures, seminars, conferences, workshops, training courses.
